There was an 11 player turnout for Regs Night last night, with all 5 of the new line up from the KY Jelly Babies, 2 Jammy Dodgers (Stephen and Karl) , Chris and 3 MOTU - Kevin & Alan McMahon, and Dave Shiels. 4 games were played, and the first 2 were Supercharge 3 with KY + Chris against the rest - Kev, Alan, Dave, Stephen and Karl Laffan. KY lost both games. For the other 2 games teams were picked, and E4 was played, but the team with the extra player won both games. All in all the games were good to say the least, and I won them all. Let it be noted that Conor didn't bother making an appearance.
Trax Arena news, the majority of people seem to want to make the trip up asap, as in before Christmas, so Alan should be checking out all the options as he always does - and I think we should at least have a small party travel up to see what it is like. Plus it would be fun.
FYI: It seems that 26 seconds is now the unbeatable :(

I knew I forgot to do something today.....Yesterday's Regs Night was a good one, with 10 people playing, it would have been 12 if not for John McGann going to a birthday party, and David being in work. Anyway, participants included 4 KY Jelly Babies (Ger, Colin, Blondie, Karl), 4 Masters Of The Universe (Al, Conor, Dave, Kev) and 2 Jammy Dogders (Stephen and Paddy). There was however, not an even game to be had. For the first 3, we had Karl & Ger/Colin/Blondie picking the teams, and the first picker always got the better team and won. For the last game, only 20 minutes long because some people cared about getting up the next morning, was just as one-sided as the 4 MOTU and Stephen took on the rest. I doesn't matter that I made the mistake - 54 seconds is unbeatable!

Another pointless woo-hoo, we reached 3000 hits since July today. Boring I know. Apparently, since I wouldn't know - hence the lack of an update yesterday - 8 people played regs night on wednesday, and Conor was yet again an absentee."You know, when you've been doubled"

Small bits of news:
Happy Birthday to Angela Dwane, 21 today, and we're all looking forward to wrecking her head at her party on Saturday. Also, thanks to Alison for her 21st party on last Saturday, we finally got to see Blondie dance, and it was well worth the wait. Plus Davey and his mother's routine was top drawer.
OT: Futurama's Season 2 DVD Box set is out now! So go buy. Go on.

A well and truly unbalanced, but enjoyable, regs night was had last night, 11 people played, Conor didn't, and I got 23 bases in one game! We had 4 half hour E4 games, of teams 6 v 5, and people who played were: Dave, Dave2, Al, Kev, Colin, Ger, John, Karl, Warren, Paddy and Zack; people who didn't for whatever reason (in Galway, "stuff to do", dead in a ditch) have lost my repect forever. As was to be expected, the 6 man team won each game (due to bad team selection techniques) by a large margin, and John told everyone of his joy at finally getting on msn messenger. Apart from that (and that's even pushing it a bit) there's nothing much to tell, plus if you weren't there you don't deserve to know anyway.
Completely off topic: Futurama Season 2 DVD/VHS box sets are out this Monday (11th) get them or Morbo will destroy you all (pathetic humans), I know I will, get the DVDs that is, if I ever get to see €60 again. Oh, and the ""Quasar World Championships 2003"" (note the piss-taking second set of double inverted commas) is only 141 days away! "No, I just came in through the couch door"
