Where to begin? Well, a late Happy December 25th could be a start. On Christmas Eve we had a Christmas Eve Extravangaza, from 10am - 2pm, with only 11 regs taking part. We had a 5 on 6 E4 game to start, then we split into 3 teams, 2 of 4 and 1 of 3, for a mini competition. As usual the teams were completely random, and ended up as follows: Team A: Dave McMahon, Paddy, Zack and Eoin. Team B: Al McMahon, Kev, Stephen Warren. Team C: Dave Shiels, Karl Laffan, Jason and Keith. Team B won (obviously), undefeated after playing both the other teams twice. Team C came third and Team A brought up the rear. Then we messed about for a few games. Well worth the €6.90. And this followed a basically CP less Sunday Morning when we played 6 games. So after the Christmas Eve Morning thing, we left the guns to be royally fucked up by the drunken Leisureplex staff that evening. Thanks a lot, guys.

St. Stephen's Day was Blondie's birthday - Al O'Loughlin is now 18 and eligible to vote. "May God have mercy on us all". In other "news", Regs Night should go ahead on new years day, so no excuses, while people permitting, we may yet have a New Years Eve Morning of Quasar to finish the year off. And remember, party in Angela's for New Years.

In non-Quasar related news, the Two Towers kicks ass, except Mr. Jackson can expect an angry letter relating to Legolas' apparent inability to take down the "Olympic Torch" Urak Hai.

There were 12 people present at Regs Night, so finally we could have a 6 on 6 E4 game, and we had 2. The third game was a 5 on 6, and that was the last game, since like at Villa Park, we started late. Anywho, the first 2 games were the same teams once each colour, and the teams were KY (Colin, Ger, Blondie, Karl, John) plus Angela, versus Jammy Dodgers (Stephen and Paddy) plus MOTU (Kev, Alan, Dave, Dave2). The JD/MOTU combination won both games, the first by 158 and the second by 344, and hardly a player in both games didn't have a problem with any packs, they certaintly were'nt great, and it must be said for once. Angela left after the second game, we had a break since a CP game went in, after which the teams were Dave, Dave2, Colin, Paddy, Karl and Stephen against Al, Kev, John, Blondie and Ger. The team of 5 players won and won comfortably. And strangely the packs seemed to be much better in that game.

Point to Note: There will be no Regs Night on Wednesday next week, or the week after, for obvious reasons - It's Christmas, then New Years. Although there is talk in the air of a Christmas Eve Extravaganza (like Monday Morning Madness but seasonal) next Tuesday. "Super, Super Dan, Super, Super Dan, Super, Super Dan - Super Danny Murphy"

We went over 4000 hits since July last night, at the moment it seems to be averaging about 1000 every month and a half. Also, (more useless information)it's yet another Quasar birthday: the Old man of Tallaght, Conor Farrell, is 24 today. Jesus!

So, The Two Towers is out, anyone want to go to the Cinema.

5 games were played in Regs Night yesterday, not bad, and that with a CP game in the middle aswell. All of the new KY team were present, there were 2 Jammy Dodgers - Stephen and Paddy, and Al & Kev McMahon, and David Shiels. The first 2 games were KY vs the rest, and they got completely battered in both. Let's not mention Karl's -1400, oh, too late. It was at this point that the CP game went in, and during the break there was discussion, including a heated and ridiculous argument, and John McGann telling everyone about his new dodging techniques .Then the teams were changed, and it was Super 3 as usual, and some not too brilliant games. After that, Blondie, Stephen and Paddy left so we played out a 15 minute game of 4 KY players versus 3 MOTU players - who won. All in all, not too bad, if only Conor and Dave could play, maybe we could get a 6 on 6 or two. "The kids can call you Coju"

There was a Challenge Match had in Coolock last night, during Regs Night, when MRS came up against a team of mixed players chosen by Chris Power. Two 15 minute games were had, with each team playing once each colour, and the line ups were:

MRSChris' Team
John Lynch
Philly Doyle
Graham Pimlott
Craig McLeod
Michael O'Connor
Chris Power
Alan McMahon
Karl Kelly
David Shiels
Kevin McMahon

The guns held up well for both games, the only 2 changes were due to a broken speaker, and nobody had any complaints. In the first game Chris' team were Green, and after a good game came out with a 73 point victory - 300 to 227. The colours were reversed and the second game was won by MRS, by a margin of 49 points - 267 to 218. However it was not enough for the Coolock A side, going down to an overall defeat of 24 points. Not a bad victory for Chris and his once off team. Next up MRS versus KY Jelly Babies, the date is yet to be decided.

Yet again with the forgetfulness - Regs Night, there were 10 of us: Kevin, Al, Conor, Philly, Chris, Ger, Colin, Paddy, Karl, Blondie - and there were 4 games. I missed the first, but the next 2 were just straight picked teams, and we played Supercharge 3, instead of Energise 4, which is surprising considering we had a 5 on 5. Most of the packs were good, few were not, and at least people were able to change when it was bad. The last game had KYs 4 present players against the rest - who were Al, Philly, Chris and myself, after Conor and Paddy had left early. Then Karl tried to steal my gloves.

Next Monday Night there is a challenge match of sorts taking place in Coolock, when MKS or MRS or whoever will take on a mixture of players : Dave Shiels, Chris Power, Karl Kelly, Al and Kev McMahon. Should be interesting (I haven't played over there in months, and my favourite place (green base) has been changed), that will take place after the 3 usual Regs Night games. Quote of the Day:- "I'm one of your nephews you don't see very often. Um, Bart-Bart."
