Competition News: Congratulations to MKS on a fantastic victory. They beat BORG in a play-off, them both having finished the League Stage on the same number of points. In 3rd place were MOTU :), while the Bedford team came in 4th (and were the only team to beat MKS overall). Home side the Dodgers came in a disappointing 5th place. Was a fantastic competition, very tight, while the packs were terrific, and everyone for the most part played in the right spirit.
Couple of updates: The Events page now reflects the results of the competition, while I have already uploaded my photos from the competition (all 79 of them). Enjoy.

T-minus 1 day til the competition, pretty much everyone (apart from the BORG) seem to be arriving today. Surely there'll be some practice today, and then the 2s and 1s are scheduled for tomorrow morning/afternoon. To be followed by the captain's meeting, then the competition can begin.
Regs Night last night had a decent turnout, there was 8 of us. Myself, Al, Paddy, Colin, Zack, Warren, Coju & Karl. Teams for the first 4 games were myself, Al, Colin & Karl vs. Zack, Warren, Paddy & Coju. We won the first, they won the rest. The final game was myself & Colin against Al & Coju. Decent games all round, everyone seemed to be taking it easy, just get a bit more practice, but not risking any serious injury. Good stuff.

Little Regs Night Update. Wednesday Night we had all of 4 people, which is a little disappointing, considering there's a competition taking place in a weeks time... But anyhow, the 4 hardcore were myself, Al, Warren and Blondie. Only played 2 proper games (since I was late - damn work, and there was a half hour long CP game in the middle!), myself and Blondie vs. Al & Warren. A leg apiece, they won overall. Couple of minor injuries acquired, nothing that'll have any effect come a week, unless of course I manage to aggravate matters in the next while (which is not only possible, but likely!).
Much talk of the competition on the boards, in particular the matter of the packs, the 1s & 2s, the format and, of course, the usual smattering of shit-talk, ironically enough, most of which is spoken by people who are completely useless anyway!

Not much to report, although the upcoming Bray tournament is shaping up nicely, we're expecting 9 teams, so there is a good possibility of a league format. Although I'm slow, so the Bray page on the website is yet to reflect the most recent developments.
The overnight last Saturday was very successful, a large turnout and some fun was had aswell, mostly in the form of the mini comp (5 × 5 man teams), the "Alien" game, and myself and Al's attempts to be the most doubled players in the history of Quasar as the wee hours approached.
Regs Night last night managed to consist of 7 games, most of which were 3 on 3. Players were: myself, Al, Blondie, Colin, Pat & Coju. Good games throughout, although I seemed to be back to my moany best for some reason!
